Zameen is an action thriller drama about the plane hijacking. When Col. Ranvir Singh Ranawat (Ajay Devgn), along with his men, arrests the terrorist leader Baba Zaheer Khan (Mukesh Tiwari), the terrorist group hijacks an Indian Airlines plane to evacuate their leader. The airplane has 107 passengers and crew, and is re-routed to Kazan in Pakistan administered Kashmir. After the failed attempt of the Indian government to convince the Pakistani Ambassador to either send the Pakistani Army or let the IndianArmy enter Pakistan to rescue people on board, the task is assigned to Col. Ranvir Singh. Col. Ranvir Singh teams up with ACP Jaideep Rai (Abhishek Bachchan) of Anti-Terrorist Squad to free the hostages. Will the two be able to apprehend the terrorists and rescue the civilians?
