Member of the cinematic Kapoor family, Aditya Raj Kapoor is an actor, filmmaker and businessman. He is the son of famous actors Shammi Kapoor and Geeta Bali. After the completion of his education, he started his career as an assistant director in his uncle Raj Kapoor’s film Bobby, and thereafter he worked as an assistant director for movies like Satyam Shivam Sundaram (1978), Geraftaar (1985), Saajan (1991), Aarzoo (1999), etc. He has also independently directed movies like Don’t Stop Dreaming (2007) and Sambar Salsa (2007). He made his screen debut with the 2010 film Chase, which was followed by his role in movies like Diwangi Ne Had Kar Di (2010), Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2011), Say Yes to Love (2012), etc.
