Akshara Haasan is an actress who was born in Chennai and primarily works in Hindi as well as Tamil films. She started her film career by working as an assistant director to Rahul Dholakia on the film Society (2010) after which she made her acting debut in R. Balki’s Amitabh Bachchan starrer Shamitabh in 2015 opposite Dhanush. She later appeared in the Hindi film Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana (2017) and Thala Ajith Kumar’s Vivegam in Tamil in 2017. She is the daughter of actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika and the younger sister of actress Shruti Haasan.
