Amar Talwar is an Indian actor, who gained recognition with his role in the historical TV series Shanti. He made his screen debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s family drama Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham… (2001), in which he portrayed Rani Mukerji’s father. Other Bollywood movies featuring him include Bhoot (2003), Deewaar (2004), The Film (2005), Corporate (2006), Mittal v/s Mittal (2010), Baby (2015), etc.
