Tennis Buddies is a story of the triumph of a small town girl from Faridabad who aspires to take up a career in Tennis while she dares to liberate herself from the clutches of her father cum coach. The girl is trapped in the male-dominated society of the game but emerges unscathed against all odds to set herself a goal. The story also signifies the father-daughter relationship while the mother is sandwiched between the two. Despite the savage of gender disparity and a game of the rich, the glorious game of tennis turns to be the fame for the young girl.
