Mala Sinha is a former Indian actress who started her acting career with the regional cinema and later became one of the top actresses of Bollywood. She was active in Hindi Cinema in the late 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. She started her career in Bollywood with the 1954 tragedy drama Hamlet, directed by Kishore Sahu. Other important movies of her career are Fashion (1957), Detective (1958), Duniya Na Mane (1959), Love Marriage (1959), Bewakoof (1960), Maya (1961), Dil Tera Deewana (1962), Anpadh (1962) and Bombay Ka Chor (1962). In 1966, she married a Nepalese businessman Chidambaram Prasad Lohani and the couple has a daughter, actress Pratibha Sinha.
