Mohan Maharishi was an eminent Indian theatre director, actor and a playwright. He graduated from National School of Drama, New Delhi in 1965, and later served as its Director 1984-86. He was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 'Direction' in 1992. Besides directing and acting in plays he also appeared in the historical series 'Bharat Ek Khoj' and appeared in TV series 'Mahakumbh' and Kabir Khan's 'Phantom' released in 2015.
