Rasik Dave was an actor who primarily worked in Gujarati as well as Hindi films. He started his acting career in 1982 with the Gujarati film Putra Vadhu and thereafter made his Bollywood debut in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Jhoothi (1986), Eeshwar (1989), Masoom (1996), etc. He gained recognition after appearing as Nand in B.R. Chopra’s TV series Mahabharat and later in Byomkesh Bakshi (1993) and C.I.D. (1998). He was married to actress Ketki Dave with whom he had also participated in the TV dance show ‘Nach Baliye’ in 2006. He breathed his last on 29 July 2022 and is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
