Ray Stevenson was a British TV and film actor who played the villainous British governor in S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR. He started his career in the 1990s by appearing on TV shows like the Divergent series, Band of Gold, Peak Practice, and Murphy's Law. He made his Hollywood debut in Paul Greengrass’s 1998 film The Theory of Flight and got his first major break in Antoine Fuqua’s 2004’s adventure movie King Arthur, where he played Dagonet, one of the Knights of the Round Table. He is also remembered for his roles in the Thor films and Punisher: War Zone (2008). The actor breathed his last while filming the action movie Cassino in Ischia in Italy at the age of 58.
