Rehana was an Indian actress who was born in British India. She started her career in Bollywood with small dancing roles in movies and became the first ‘Jhatka Queen’ of Hindi Cinema. The film that helped her gain fame was Hum Ek Hain (1946), directed by P. L. Santoshi, in which she appeared alongside Dev Anand. She then appeared in several blockbuster films like Shehnai (1947), Actress (1948), Sunehre Din (1949), Sargam (1950), Dilruba (1950), Nirdosh (1950), Surajmukhi (1950), Sagai (1951), Rangeeli (1952), etc.
