Trilok Kapoor was an Indian actor and member of the Kapoor family, he was the younger brother of actor Prithviraj Kapoor. He started his acting career in Bollywood with the blockbuster Char Darvesh (1933) and became the prominent lead actor of the 1930s and 1940s, and was the highest-paid film star of his time. Other important movies of his career are Seeta (1934), Dhoop Chhaon (1935), Baazigar (1938), Pagal (1940), Achhut (1940), Raja Rani (1942), Vakil Saheb (1943), Prabhu Ka Ghar (1945), Amar Raj (1946), Har Har Mahadev (1950) and Ramayan (1954). He had two sons, a lawyer, and politician, Vicky Kapoor, and film director, Vijay Kapoor.
