Vidya Malvade is an Indian actress, who started her career as an air hostess. Later, she became a model and did modelling for ad films. She made her debut in acting with the 2003 thriller drama Inteha, directed by Vikram Bhatt. The movie that gave her recognition was the 2007 multi-starrer sports film Chak De! India. She has also acted in movies like Kidnap (2008), Tum Milo Toh Sahi (2010), Striker (2010), 1920: Evil Returns (2012), Yaara Silly Silly (2015), etc. In 1997, she married Arvind Singh Bagga, a pilot, who died in a plane crash in 2000. Later, in 2009, she married screenplay writer, Sanjay Dayma.
