Chak De! India is a sports drama. The movie revolves around Kabir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan), a former hockey player, who is suspected to betray the country by intentionally losing a match to Pakistan. Post India Pakistan match, Kabir Khan is forced to leave the town along with his mother. He gets a chance to prove his loyalty to the country by coaching the Indian women’s hockey team. He coaches 16 young women divided by their cultures and competitive nature. The team is then sent to Australia for the World Cup. This is Kabir’s only chance to get respect back and prove that he has always been loyal to his country. Will the Indian Women’s Hockey Team win the World Cup and help their coach regain his respect?
