Shah Rukh Khan or King Khan as he is fondly called by fans, is an actor, producer, television personality, playback singer, and entrepreneur who primarily works in Hindi films. Also referred to as the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’, he is probably one of the biggest and most successful superstars of all time to grace the silver screen. He has appeared in over 80 films and received numerous accolades and awards nationally as well as internationally including the Padma Shri, and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Legion of Honour by the Government of France. He began his career by appearing in television series in the late 80s and made his Bollywood debut with Deewana in 1992 which was followed by films like Baazigar (1993), Darr (1993), Anjaam (1994), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Mohabbatein (2000) and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (2001). Some of his highest-grossing films include Chennai Express (2013), Happy New Year (2014), Dilwale (2015), and Raees (2017). He is married to Gauri Khan who is a film producer and owns the Red Chillies Entertainment production banner while their children are sons Aryan Khan, AbRam Khan, and daughter Suhana Khan.
