Main Hoon Na is an action-romantic drama. The movie revolves around Major Ram Prasad Sharma (Shah Rukh Khan), a para–SF Commando. Major Ram’s father Brigadier Shekhar Prasad Sharma (Naseeruddin Shah), on his deathbed, asks Ram to reconcile with his stepmother, Madhu Sharma (Kirron Kher), and step-brother, Lakshman (Zayed Khan). Ram’s senior, General Bakshi (Kabir Bedi), sends him on a mission to go undercover as a college student to protect his daughter Sanjana (Amrita Rao) from a rogue soldier, Raghavan Dutta (Suniel Shetty). Initially hesitant, Ram agrees to go to the mission when he learns that Sanjana is in the same college as Lakshman, and the mission may give him a chance to reconcile with his long-lost family. Will Ram succeed in his mission and also be able to fulfill his dying father’s last wish?
