Kal Ho Naa Ho is a romantic musical drama. The movie revolves around a pessimistic MBA student, Naina Catherine Kapur (Preity Zinta), who lives in New York with her widowed mother, paternal grandmother, disabled brother and an adopted sister. She leads a boring and unhappy life, until she meets Aman (Shah Rukh Khan). Aman moves next door to Naina, with his mother. He helps her to see things with a changed perspective and completely changes her life for good. She soon starts to fall in love with Aman, but is devastated to learn that he is already married. Meanwhile, Naina’s long-time best friend Rohit (Saif Ali Khan) falls in love with her, and takes help from Aman to woo her. Will Naina get over Aman and accept Rohit’s proposal?
