Reema Lagoo was an Indian theatre and film actress. She started her acting career with Marathi theatre. In Bollywood, she made her screen debut with Govind Nihalani’s arthouse film Aakrosh (1980). She then appeared in movies like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988), Rihaee (1988), Maine Pyaar Kiya (1989), Saajan (1991), Jai Kishen (1994), Rangeela (1995), Gumrah (1993), Hum Aapke Hain Koun…! (1994), Yeh Dillagi (1994), Dilwale (1994), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999) and Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003). She married stage actor Vivek Lagoo and their daughter Mrunmayee followed their steps and became a theatre actor and director.
