Maine Pyar Kiya is a musical romantic drama. The movie revolves around a young girl, Suman (Bhagyashree), and a young boy, Prem (Salman Khan). Suman’s father leaves her in care of his best friend, Kishan’s family, while he travels abroad. There she meets Kishan’s son, Prem, and the two fall in love with each other. However, Kishan, who is much wealthier than Suman’s father, doesn’t approve of the match and insults Suman and her father. Later, Suman’s father takes her with him, and rejects Prem, but seeing his daughter’s love for him, he decides to give him one chance to prove that he is not the same as his father. Will Prem be able to prove himself in front of Suman’s father?
