Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan, popularly known as Salman Khan, is an Indian actor, producer, singer and television host, who has predominantly worked in Bollywood films. Son of screenwriter Salim Khan, Salman Khan started his career with a supporting role in the 1988 film Biwi Ho To Aisi. His first film as the leading actor was Sooraj Barjatya’s Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), alongside Bhagyashree, which helped him to establish his career in Bollywood.
