Bodyguard is an action romantic tale and the remake of the Malayalam hit movie of the same time. The movie revolves around Lovely B. Singh (Salman Khan), who has been assigned as a bodyguard of Divya Rana (Kareena Kapoor), daughter of a powerful politician Sartaj Rana (Raj Babbar). Lovely is extremely loyal to Sartaj Rana as he was responsible for saving his mother in an accident. While guarding Divya, Lovely falls in love with a girl named Chhaya. However, he is unaware that Chhaya is none other than Divya, who was pretending to be Chhaya to distract Lovely from his work. Lovely sees Divya with respect as he cannot imagine going against Sartaj’s wish. What happens next, does Divya finally reveal the reality and lose out on Lovely, or will Lovely forgive Divya and move on?
