Raj Babbar is an Indian actor and politician who started his career in Bollywood with Amrit Nahata’s political satire Kissa Kursi Ka (1977) but unfortunately his part got edited in the final cut. Important movies of his career are Insaf Ka Tarazu (1980), Aankhen (1993), Dalaal (1994), Andaz (1994), Gambler (1995), Yaarana (1995), Barsaat (1995), Ziddi (1997), Gundagardi (1997), Daag: The Fire (1999), Indian (2001), and LOC Kargil (2003). In 1975, he married Nadira Zaheer and the couple has two children, actors Arya Babbar and Juhi Babbar. Later, he married actress Smita Patil and took her as the second wife, and they have a son Prateik Babbar.
