Suhaagan is a romantic family drama. The movie revolves around a young married couple, Ram (Jeetendra) and Janki (Sridevi), who live peacefully. However, things start to get complicated in their married life, and Janki gets bored of their monotonous life. She decides to elope with Murli (Raj Babbar) and leaves her husband and kids behind to have an adventurous life with him. Her life turns upside down when Murli commits suicide and she is left alone. She has no place to go, except confronting Ram. Will Ram be able to forgive her and accept her back?
