Suryaa: An Awakening is an action drama. In the rural area of Sargaon, the village was ruled by Pt. Gangadhar Choudhary (Amrish Puri), and kills anyone who speaks against him. He owns a huge piece of land, and lives in a palatial house. He confronts a man named Veer, who owns a small piece of land close to him, as he wants to buy it, but Veer refuses it, so he gets him killed. Veer’s wife dies in shock, and leaves behind their young son Suraj (Vinod Khanna), who is raised by a widow. Suraj vows to avenge his parent’s death. He grows up and becomes an army officer and returns to his hometown to finish his business. Will Suraj succeed in his mission?
