Vinod Khanna was an Indian actor, film producer, director and politician. He started his acting career in Bollywood with supporting roles in movies like Man Ka Meet (1969), Nateeja (1969), Sachaa Jhutha (1970), Purab Aur Paschim (1970), Rakhwala (1971), Mere Apne (1971), Mera Gaon Mera Desh (1971) and Achanak (1973). He then appeared in lead roles in many films like Kuchhe Dhaage (1973), Gaddaar (1973), Imtihan (1974), Inkaar (1977), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (1978), Rajput (1982), The Burning Train (1980), Qurbani (1980), Parvarish (1977), and Jurm (1990). In 1971, he married Geetanjali Taleyarkhan and they became parents to two sons, actors Rahul Khanna and Akshaye Khanna. The couple divorced in 1985, and in 1990, he married Kavita Daftary.
