Aakhri Adaalat is an action thriller drama. The movie follows the story of an honest Police Inspector Amar (Vinod Khanna), who wants to decimate the underworld. One of his sprees ends in arresting the notorious underworld criminals, but his efforts go in vain as the criminals are set free after some time. Later, he is assigned a desk job, and he meets Sub-Inspector Rima Kapoor (Dimple Kapadia), who is in his team, and the two fall in love with each other. Soon after, Rima finds out that Amar is involved in homicides and has killed several criminals out of law. The question remains, how far would Amar go to end the crime and restore justice?
