Qurbani is a romantic action thriller which narrates the tale of two friends, Rajesh and Amar (Feroz Khan and Vinod Khanna) who are thieves and fall in love with the same girl, Sheetal (Zeenat Aman). Amar who already has a daughter plans to quit his job and start a new life with Sheetal without knowing that she loves Rajesh who undergoing a jail term. Keeping an eye on both the friends is police officer Amjad Khan (Amjad Khan). Rajesh and Amar plan to carry out one last big robbery before calling it quits but the former comes to know about Amar's love for Sheetal. What happens thereafter forms the remaining part of this musical super hit movie.
