Born as Sunil Sikanderlal Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor is an Indian actor and comedian, who is best known for playing character comedic and negative roles in Hindi films. He started his career in Bollywood with a small role in the 1975 film Ranjit Khanal. Some important movies of his career include Tohfa (1984), ChaalBaaz (1989), Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri (1990), Andaz Apna Apna (1994), Raja Babu (1994), Hungama (2003), Hulchul (2004), Chup Chup Ke (2006), Malamaal Weekly (2006), etc. In 1982, he married actress Shivangi Kolhapure and the couple has two children, actors Siddhanth Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.
