Garibon Ka Daata is an action drama. The movie follows the story of a man named Gopi (Mithun Chakraborty), who lives with his mother and sister. He falls in love with a girl named Naina (Bhanupriya), who lives in Shantipur. In Shantipur, two powerful men - Thakur Chattan Singh (Kader Khan) and Samjhavan Lal (Prem Chopra) made it difficult for the villagers with their barbarism. Later, Naina complains about the two men to the government, and soon after the minister sends an executive to the village. Everyone mistakes Gopi to be the executive, and Chattan Singh and Samjhavan Lal try to bribe him. On the contrary, Gopi and Naina manipulate the duo and make them do things in the right way. The question remains, what will happen when everyone finds the truth?
