Prem Chopra is an Indian actor who has worked in over 380 films in a career span of over 60 years. He usually appeared as an antagonist in movies. Some important movies of his career are Shaheed (1965), Upkaar (1967), Do Raaste (1969), Kati Patang (1971), Prem Nagar (1974), Do Anjaane (1976), Maha Chor (1976), Jadu Tona (1977), Dostana (1980), Jaanwar (1982), Souten (1983), Oonche Log (1985), Phool Bane Angaarey (1991) and Ghar Parivaar (1991). In 1969, he married Uma Chopra who is the sister of Raj Kapoor’s wife Krishna Kapoor and the couple has three daughters, Rakita, Punita, and Prerna Chopra. Daughter Punita is married to actor Vikas Bhalla while Prerna Chopra is married to actor Sharman Joshi. In 2014, his biography titled ‘Prem Naam Hai Mera, Prem Chopra', written by his daughter Rakita Nanda was released.
