Khud-Daar is an action romantic family drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Hari (Sanjeev Kumar), who lives happily with his stepbrothers, Govind (Amitabh Bachchan) and Rajesh (Vinod Mehra). However, things take a turn when Hari gets married to Seema (Tanuja), who dislikes Govind and Rajesh. Seema displaces the two, which forces the brothers to fend for themselves. But Govind doesn’t give up and starts taking up odd jobs to send his brother to school. Govind becomes a cab driver who earns enough to make his younger brother a graduate. Raju in order to make fast money gets married to a wealthy business man’s daughter and entangles himself in a crime. Years later, the three brother are reunited in a courtroom but are unaware of each other’s identity. Will destiny help the brothers to realise the truth and to be together again?
