Bindiya Goswami is a former Indian actress and costume designer. She started her acting career in Bollywood with Murugan Kumaran’s Jeevan Jyoti (1976) alongside Vijay Arora. Important movies of her career are Khatta Meetha (1978), Prem Vivah (1979), Jaani Dushman (1979), Golmaal (1979), Takkar (1980), Heeron Ka Chor (1982), and Mehandi (1983). She has designed costumes for female stars in movies like Border (1997), Refugee (2000), LOC Kargil (2003), and Umrao Jaan (2007). She was married to actor Vinod Mehra for a short period of four years, after the end of her first marriage, she married filmmaker J.P. Dutta in 1985.
