Gol Maal is an all-time classic situational comedy-drama where Ram Prasad Sharma (Amol Palekar), a middle-class qualified CA gets a job in a big company. One day he lies to his boss (Utpal Dutt) that his mother is unwell and sets off to see a hockey match where accidentally his boss happens to see him. To hide his lie and save his job he says that it was his twin brother who was at the stadium and not him. To save his job Ram continues to hide lies after lies which lead him to hilarious situations.
