Raja Babu is a comedy musical melodrama. The movie revolves around an orphan named Raja (Govinda), who was adopted by the wealthy couple living in the village. He becomes the sole heir of their property and grows up being spoiled, unsophisticated and uneducated. He falls in love with a beautiful and elegant girl named Madhu (Karisma Kapoor) and tries to grab her attention. He poses as a very sophisticated and educated man in front of Madhu in order to win her. Eventually Madhu too falls in love with Raja, however, what will happen when she learns the truth?
