Desh Premee is an action-comedy drama. The movie follows the story of a young freedom fighter named Dinanath (Amitabh Bachchan), who is forced to leave his hometown with his son Raju. He finds shelter with four crooks, who keep on fighting with one another. Dinanath tries to resolve their conflicts and bring them together. However, he is unaware that he is being used by the four men. Will he be able to realise the truth or be used by the men as a pawn for a much bigger conspiracy? Meanwhile Dinanath’s son Raju (Amitabh Bachchan) grows up to become a petty thief and not follow his father’s footsteps but finally realises that crime never pays.
