Mithun Chakraborty is an Indian actor, producer, and politician. He started his acting career in Bollywood with a small role in Dulal Guha’s Do Anjaane (1976) which was followed by his National award-winning performance in Mrinal Sen’s Mrigayaa (1976). This again was followed by many commercially successful movies like Surakkshaa (1979), Kasturi (1980), Sahhas (1981), Wardat (1981), Disco Dancer (1982), Wanted (1984), Boxer (1984), Pyar Jhukta Nahin (1985), Dance Dance (1987), Agneepath (1990), Jallad (1995), Rangbaaz (1996), Himmatwala (1998), Chaalbaaz (2003), Golmaal 3 (2010), OMG – Oh My God! (2012) and Entertainment (2014). In 1979, he married actress Yogeeta Bali and the couple has four children.
