Charanon Ki Saugandh is an action drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Ravi (Mithun Chakraborty), who lives in a city. When he returns to his village, he learns that the villagers and farmers are oppressed by an evil landlord, Thakur Singh (Prem Chopra). Thus, to teach him a lesson, Ravi decides to contest in the next panchayat election, and make him mend his ways. However, to mock Ravi, he offers his daughter, Kamana (Amrita Singh), as a prize. Will Ravi succeed in teaching the evil Thakur a lesson?
