Commando is an action romantic drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Chandar (Mithun Chakraborty), whose police officer father dies in an attempt to save the minister. His mother too loses her sanity, thus he is all by himself and trains himself to avenge his father’s death. He falls in love with Asha (Mandakini), and the two wish to get married, but Asha’s father is against the match, and is on good terms with the villain (Amrish Puri), who is also responsible for Chandar’s father’s death. Will Chandar succeed in setting the score right with his father’s killer and also unite with the love of his life?
