Amrish Puri is an Indian actor, who is best known for playing iconic villainous roles in Bollywood movies. He started his career in Bollywood with Dev Anand’s 1970 film Prem Pujari. Some of the best films of his career include Phool Aur Kaante (1981), Vidhaata (1982), Meri Jung (1985), Mr. India (1987), Ghayal (1990), Damini (1993), Karan Arjun (1995), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Chachi 420 (1997), Pardes (1997), Virasat (1997), etc. He was married to Urmila Diveker in 1957 and the couple had 2 children. The marriage ended with his death in 2005.
