Vijeta is a coming-of-age action drama. The movie follows the story of a teenage boy named Angad (Kunal Kapoor), who is full of confusions and stays mentally unstable due to the ongoing problems in the marital life of his parents, Neelima (Rekha) and Nihal (Shashi Kapoor). Angad tries to get between his parents and resolve the issues between the two, but fails. It is then, he decides to get away and registers himself for the Indian Airforce to give his life new meaning and fulfil his duties towards his nation. However, it is to be found whether Angad finally succeeds and gets the solace by fulfilling his duties?
