Hamara Khandan is a family romantic drama. The movie follows the story of a young boy named Vishal (Rishi Kapoor), who comes from a wealthy Hindu family, and lives with his father, Chandraprakash (Amrish Puri), and mother, Sharda (Asha Parekh). Vishal falls in love with a Catholic girl named Ruby Miranda (Farha Naaz), but the only problem is convincing his father for the match. Ruby’s father agrees to the marriage, but Chandraprakash would never tolerate his son marrying a girl from another religion. Will Vishal be able to convince his father for the match?
