An important member of the cinematic Kapoor family and son of actor-director Raj Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor was an Indian actor, director and producer. Recipient of several accolades, the actor started his career as an adolescent in Raj Kapoor’s film Mera Naam Joker (1970), for which he also won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist. As an adult, he made his acting debut with the romantic drama Bobby (1973), alongside Dimple Kapadia, which won him Filmfare Award for Best Actor. In a career spanning over 50 years, the actor has starred in around 100 movies, including Khel Khel Mein (1975), Kabhi Kabhie (1976), Karz (1980), Chandni (1989), Deewana (1992), Do Dooni Chaar (2010), Agneepath (2012), 102 Not Out (2018), Mulk (2018), and many more. In 1980, he married actress Neetu Singh, and the couple has two children, including actor Ranbir Kapoor.
