One of the most successful father-son duos of Bollywood, Raj Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor are so similar in many ways. Rishi Kapoor started his acting career with Raj Kapoor’s Mera Naam Joker (1970), in which he played young Raj Kapoor. While other sons of Raj Kapoor were over shadowed by his popularity, Rishi Kapoor emerged as one of the best romantic heroes of his times and went on to climb the ladder of success. In 1950, Raj Kapoor featured in P. L. Santoshi’s romantic drama Sargam, alongside Rehana. In 1979, Rishi Kapoor starred in K. Vishwanath’s movie with the same title, alongside Jaya Prada.

B. R. Chopra’s 1963 romantic drama Gumrah starred Sunil Dutt, Ashok Kumar, Mala Sinha and Nirupa Roy. Thirty years later, Sanjay Dutt featured in Mahesh Bhatt’s action crime drama Gumrah, alongside Sridevi.
Sunil Dutt starred in the 1972 action drama Zameen Aasmaan, directed by A. Veerappan, co-starring Ashok Kumar, Rekha and Yogita Bali. Sanjay Dutt starred in Bharat Rangachary’s 1984 film Zameen Aasmaan, alongside Anita Raj.

Born as Ravi Kapoor, Jeetendra is best known for his unique style of dancing and acting skills. He was at the peak of his career during late 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, during which he was frequently paired with top actresses like Rekha, Reena Roy, Moushumi Chatterjee, Jaya Prada and Sridevi. Like their father, Dharmendra’s sons – Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, became successful Bollywood actors, while Sunny Deol was an action hero, Bobby Deol has an image of a romantic Bollywood hero.

He has played lead roles in several movies and was at the peak of his career in 1982 when he took a temporary break from his film career to follow spiritual guru Osho.
