Sunny Deol is an Indian actor, filmmaker, and politician, who is often referred to as the ‘Angry Man of Bollywood’. He is the son of actor Dharmendra and brother of actor Bobby Deol. He started his acting career with the Bollywood movie Betaab (1983) directed by Rahul Rawail. His role in the movie earned him a nomination for Filmfare Award for Best Actor. It was followed by his successful movies like Tridev (1989), ChaalBaaz (1989), Ghayal (1990), Damini (1993), Darr (1993), Border (1997), Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), and Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011). He has directed movies like Dillagi (1999), Ghayal Once Again (2016), and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (2019). In 1984, he married Pooja Deol and the couple has two sons, actor Karan Deol and Rajveer Deol.
