Dacait is an action crime drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Arjun Yadav (Sunny Deol), who returns to his village to his family after completing his education. Here he learns that his brother Amrit (Suresh Oberoi) and Thakur Bhanwar Singh (Raza Murad) are not on good terms. Soon after, Amrit gets killed, Arjun’s mother, Devi Chaudhrain (Raakhee), loses her sanity and his sister is raped and left to die. Arjun is also beaten mercilessly, but is rescued by some villagers. Later he runs away and joins a gang of dacoits and his only mission is to take revenge from those who wronged him and destroyed his family. Will he succeed in his mission?
