Imtihan is an action romantic musical drama. The story revolves around Vicky (Saif Ali Khan), a popular singer, who falls in love with Preeti (Raveena Tandon). He seeks permission from Preeti’s father for their marriage, who agrees immediately and the two soon get married. Preeti, who doesn’t reciprocate to Vicky’s feelings, marries him only for the sake of her father. It is much after their wedding; Vicky realises that Preeti is hiding something about her past. What is it that’s bothering Preeti so much? Can this newly learnt information make their marriage fall apart?
