Sunny is a romantic musical drama. The movie revolves around a young man named Sunny (Sunny Deol), the son of a businessman Indrajeet (Dharmendra). Years ago, Indrajeet fell in love with a woman, and despite being married, he had an extra-marital affair with her, and she bore his child. However, after the death of Indrajeet, his wife Gayatri manipulates his lover and makes her believe that her child was still born, and instead takes her son, Sunny, with her and raises him like her own. However, their life takes a turn, when Gayatri finds out that Sunny has fallen in love with his cousin, and getting involved with that family may bring out her well-hidden truth.
