Ghayal is an action crime drama. The movie revolves around an amateur boxer named Ajay Mehra (Sunny Deol), who lives with his brother Ashok (Raj Babbar) and sister-in-law, Indu (Moushumi Chatterjee) in Mumbai. Ashok becomes the target of a crooked businessman, Balwant Rai (Amrish Puri), who has a history of targeting innocent people to cover up his illegal business. Ashok is later killed because of Balwant’s arrangement. However, Ajay, who gets to know the truth is framed for the murder of his brother, and is arrested. He vows to avenge his brother’s death. Ajay plans to escape the jail and kill Balwant Rai. Will he succeed in his mission?
