Moushumi Chatterjee is a former Indian actress. She was one of the highest-paid actresses of the 1970s. She started her career in Bollywood with the 1972 film Anuraag, the film was successful at the box office and gave her a lot of attention. Her other important films include Humshakal (1974), Roti Kapada Aur Makaan (1974), Swarg Narak (1978), Anand Ashram (1977), Prem Bandhan (1979), Maang Bharo Sajna (1980), and Ghar Parivar (1991). She is married to producer Jayanta Mukherjee, who is the son of music composer Hemant Kumar, and the couple has two daughters, Payal and Megha.
