Kulbhushan Kharbanda is an Indian actor, who has worked in Hindi and Punjabi songs. After completing his studies, Kulbhushan joined the theatre club run by a group of friends. Later, he joined a Delhi-based theatre, followed by Kolkata-based theatre, before he moved to Mumbai to work in the Bollywood film industry. He is noted for his work in the 1975 Shyam Benegal’s film Nishaant. Other important movies of his career include Bhumika: The Role (1977), Shaan (1980), (1982), Ghayal (1990), Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992), Border (1997), Monsoon Wedding (2001), Lagaan (2001), and many more. He is married to Princess Maheshwari, the daughter of Maharaja Ram Singh II of Pratapgarh.
