Ardh is a social drama that revolves around Shiva (Rajpal Yadav) who stays along with his wife and son in small house in Mumbai. Shiva aspires to become an actor but no one gives him work due to his short stature and middle-class looks. To become the bread earner for his family’s survival in a place like Mumbai he takes up odd jobs but continues to knock at doors where he’ll get a chance to showcase his acting talent. In order to earn money consistently he unwillingly dresses up like a eunuch to ask money from people only to be ridiculed by them which leaves him depressed and dejected. What does Shiva do, how does he realize his dream of becoming an actor, how will he meet his family’s needs, forms the remaining part of this interesting story.
